FAQ

Welcome to The Keepsake Blossom & Co. We specialize in preserving meaningful flowers and creating personalized keepsakes, engravings, and acrylic signs. Below are answers to common questions about our products, ordering process, flower shipping, production timelines, delivery, and policies.

Floral Preservation
What is floral preservation?
Floral preservation is the process of carefully drying and arranging meaningful flowers inside a keepsake designed to help preserve the memory connected to them.

Because flowers are natural materials, their color, texture, shape, and appearance may change during drying and preservation.

What types of flowers can you preserve?
We may preserve flowers from:

  • Weddings and elopements;

  • Memorials and funerals;

  • Anniversaries;

  • Birthdays;

  • Graduations;

  • Baby showers;

  • Proposals;

  • Celebrations of life;

  • Religious ceremonies; and

  • Other meaningful occasions.

Most flower varieties can be considered for preservation, but their final appearance will depend on their type, age, condition, and how quickly they are delivered to us.

Do my flowers need to be fresh?
Fresh flowers generally produce the best results, but we may also be able to work with partially dried or previously dried flowers.
Flowers should be delivered or shipped as soon as reasonably possible after the event. We cannot guarantee that every flower will remain usable, especially when flowers arrive wilted, moldy, bruised, broken, or heavily discolored.

How soon should I send my bouquet?
Your bouquet should be shipped as soon as reasonably possible after your event.

Fresh flowers deteriorate quickly, so expedited or overnight shipping is generally recommended. Avoid shipping immediately before a weekend or holiday when possible.

Customers should contact us and complete the required booking process before mailing flowers.

Where do I ship my flowers?
Unless you receive different written instructions, flowers should be shipped to:
The Keepsake Blossom & Co.
1527 W. Craig Rd., STE 1B-500
North Las Vegas, NV 89032

Please include your name, order number, telephone number, and email address inside the package.

Do not ship flowers until your order has been confirmed.

Who pays to ship the flowers to you?
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping flowers and other materials to The Keepsake Blossom & Co., unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

We strongly recommend using a trackable service and retaining your shipping receipt.

Can I bring my flowers to you instead of shipping them?
Local drop-off is NOT available. However, pickup from ceremony or reception can be accommodated for a fee of $25.00 USD.

The listed address is a mailing location rather than a walk-in retail storefront. Please do not arrive without written confirmation of your appointment or drop-off instructions.

What happens when you receive my flowers?
Once your flowers are received, we may document their condition and begin evaluating them for preservation.

Depending on their condition, we may:

  • Remove damaged or unusable flowers;

  • Use only the best-preserved portions;

  • Adjust the original design;

  • Recommend another preservation option; or

  • Contact you to discuss substitutions or significant concerns.

Can every flower in my bouquet be used?
Not always.

Some flowers may be too damaged, moldy, bruised, fragile, or deteriorated to preserve safely. The size of the selected keepsake may also limit how many flowers can be included.

We use reasonable artistic judgment to select the flowers and portions best suited for the finished piece.

Will my flowers keep their original colors?
We cannot guarantee that flowers will retain their original fresh color.

During preservation, flowers may:

  • Darken;

  • Fade;

  • Become cream or ivory;

  • Develop translucent areas;

  • Change texture;

  • Shrink;

  • Brown slightly; or

  • Show bruising that was not obvious while fresh.

These are natural characteristics of preserved flowers and are not automatically considered defects.

Will white flowers stay white?
White flowers frequently become ivory, cream, translucent, pale yellow, or lightly browned during drying and preservation.

The exact result depends on the flower variety, age, moisture level, condition, and prior treatment.

Will preserved flowers last forever?
Preservation helps extend the life of flowers, but it cannot permanently stop natural aging.

Flowers and resin may gradually change over time. Proper care can help protect your keepsake and reduce premature discoloration or damage.

Can you guarantee an exact finished appearance?
No two preservation pieces will be identical.

We may use inspiration photographs, examples, proofs, or general design preferences, but natural flowers and handmade materials prevent us from guaranteeing an exact duplicate.

Each piece is individually created and will have its own natural and handmade characteristics.

Can you recreate a bouquet if my original flowers are no longer available?
Depending on the design and flower availability, we may be able to create a piece using replacement or similar flowers.

Replacement flowers will not carry the same sentimental history as the original bouquet and may not be identical in color, size, or variety.

Additional charges may apply.

Can you include charms, ribbon, photographs, or other items?
Certain sentimental items may be included with advance written approval.

Examples may include:

  • Bouquet ribbon;

  • Charms;

  • Invitations;

  • Small photographs;

  • Fabric;

  • Jewelry components;

  • Memorial items; or

  • Other small keepsakes.

Do not mail valuable, irreplaceable, hazardous, or unusual materials without receiving written approval first.

Are all products handmade?
Many of our products are handmade, customized, or created using natural materials.
Small bubbles, slight surface differences, natural discoloration, minor placement variations, and other reasonable handmade characteristics may occur. These characteristics make each piece unique and are not ordinarily considered defects.

Can I request a custom design?
Yes. Custom requests may be submitted through our website, email, social media, or another approved communication method.
Approval depends on:

  • Design feasibility;

  • Materials;

  • Flower condition;

  • Available production time;

  • Product size;

  • Budget; and

  • Current availability.

Additional design, material, or rush charges may apply.

Do you provide a design proof?
Proofs may be provided for certain engravings, acrylic signs, lettering layouts, and personalized products upon request..

Customers are responsible for reviewing all names, dates, wording, spelling, punctuation, colors, fonts, dimensions, and layout details before approval.

Once a proof is approved, production may begin immediately.

Can I make changes after approving my proof?
Changes are not guaranteed after approval.

When a change can still be made, it may result in:

  • An additional design fee;

  • A remake charge;

  • A longer production time; or

  • A new completion estimate.

Once production or personalization has begun, some changes may no longer be possible.

What happens if I approve a spelling or date error?
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all personalization before approval.

An error included in the information provided or approved by the customer does not ordinarily qualify for a free remake or refund.

When an item is produced differently from the final approved proof or written instructions, please contact us so we can review the issue.

Ordering and Payments
How do I place an order?

Orders may be placed through:

  • Our Wix website;

  • A custom invoice;

  • An approved payment link;

  • A written service agreement;

  • Email;

  • Social media; or

  • Another method approved by The Keepsake Blossom & Co.

Floral preservation customers should complete the booking process before shipping or delivering flowers.

Is payment required before work begins?

A deposit, booking payment, installment payment, or full payment will be required depending on the product or service.

The applicable payment schedule will be stated on the product page, invoice, proposal, or service agreement.

A production position is not guaranteed until the required payment and order information have been received.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or on your invoice and may be processed through Wix Payments or another third-party payment provider.

Are deposits refundable?

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • When the cancellation request is received;

  • Whether production has begun;

  • Whether materials have been ordered;

  • Whether flowers have been processed; and

  • The terms of the applicable invoice or service agreement.

Once personalization, preservation, or production begins, custom orders generally become final sale.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment arrangements may be available for qualifying custom orders when specifically offered.

All required payments must be completed according to the agreed schedule. Final payment may be required before the finished order is released, shipped, or made available for pickup.

Are prices subject to change?

Prices may change based on materials, product size, design complexity, shipping costs, and business expenses.

The price stated on an accepted invoice or order confirmation will generally apply to that order unless the customer requests changes or a pricing error must be corrected before fulfillment.

Do you charge rush fees?

Rush production may be available when our schedule and the product requirements allow it.

A rush fee prioritizes the order but does not eliminate required flower-drying, resin-curing, finishing, or carrier-transit time.

A rush deadline is guaranteed only when confirmed in writing.

Production Times

How long does floral preservation take?

Floral preservation is a detailed process that involves drying, designing, casting, curing, finishing, quality inspection, and packaging.

The estimated timeframe for your order will be provided on the applicable product page, invoice, service agreement, or order confirmation.

Production time may vary based on:

  • Flower condition;

  • Product size;

  • Design complexity;

  • Resin curing;

  • Customer approvals;

  • Material availability;

  • Seasonal order volume; and

  • Requested changes.

Is production time the same as shipping time?

No.

Production time is the time needed to create and finish your order.

Shipping time begins only after the completed order has been packaged and transferred to the carrier.

Carrier transit time is not included in the estimated production period.

Can you guarantee completion by my anniversary or event date?

A requested date is not guaranteed unless The Keepsake Blossom & Co. confirms it in writing.

Customers should order as early as possible. Completion may be affected by natural drying requirements, material availability, customer response time, design changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Will I receive updates during production?

We may provide updates at important stages of the process.

Because floral preservation involves extended drying and curing periods, there may be periods when no visible update is available. Lack of a frequent update does not mean that the order has been forgotten or is not progressing.

What can delay my order?

Common causes of delay include:

  • Missing personalization information;

  • Delayed customer responses;

  • Delayed proof approval;

  • Unpaid balances;

  • Customer-requested changes;

  • Flower condition;

  • Extended drying or curing;

  • Material shortages;

  • Seasonal volume;

  • Shipping disruptions; or

  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Shipping and Delivery

Where do you ship?

Available shipping destinations will be displayed during checkout.

We generally ship within the United States where suitable carrier service is available. International shipping is available only when specifically approved or offered.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping charges may be based on:

  • Package dimensions;

  • Weight;

  • Destination;

  • Product value;

  • Fragility;

  • Insurance;

  • Signature confirmation; and

  • Carrier service level.

Large or fragile preservation pieces may require custom packaging or additional shipping charges.

All PRESERVATIONS TO BE SHIPPED WITHIN THE USA FROM THE KEEPSAKE BLOSSOM & CO. WILL SHIP AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

ALL PRESERVATIONS TO BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE THE USA FROM THE KEEPSAKE BLOSSOM & CO. WILL REQUIRE A FLAT RATE FEE OF $84.99 USD TO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY.

Which shipping carriers do you use?

We may use USPS, UPS, FedEx, a local courier, or another reputable carrier.

The carrier may be selected based on package size, destination, insurance needs, and product fragility.

How long does shipping take?

Standard carrier delivery generally takes approximately 5-7 business days after shipment, depending on the service and destination.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless the carrier expressly guarantees the selected service.

Will I receive tracking information?

When available, tracking information will be sent after the package has been transferred to the carrier.

Tracking may take up to 48 hours to begin updating.

Do you require a signature?

Insurance or signature confirmation may be required for fragile, sentimental, oversized, or high-value orders.

Customers are responsible for arranging for someone to receive the package when a signature is required.

What happens if I enter the wrong shipping address?

Contact us immediately.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after the order has shipped. Customers may be responsible for carrier correction fees, return-to-sender charges, interception fees, and reshipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.

What should I do if tracking says delivered but I cannot find my package?

First:

  1. Confirm the address on your order;

  2. Check entrances, porches, parcel lockers, mailrooms, and reception areas;

  3. Ask household members, neighbors, or building personnel;

  4. Allow up to 24 hours for possible early carrier scanning; and

  5. Contact the carrier for delivery confirmation or GPS information.

Please also notify us so we can provide available shipment information.

  • Your name;

  • Order number;

  • Tracking number;

Can personalized products be returned?

Personalized, customized, engraved, made-to-order, and floral preservation products are generally final sale after production or personalization begins.

These products are created specifically for the customer and usually cannot be resold.

Can I cancel my order?

A cancellation may be available only before the order has entered production.

Subject to the full Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Replacement Policy:

  • Requests received within 14 calendar days may qualify for a 100% refund;

  • Requests received between 15 and 30 calendar days may qualify for an 80% refund;

  • Requests received more than 30 calendar days after purchase may qualify for a 60% refund; and

  • No cancellation refund is generally available after production, preservation, engraving, or personalization begins.

These percentages apply only when the order remains eligible for cancellation under the full policy.

Can non-personalized items be returned?

Approved non-personalized, ready-made products may qualify for return when all return requirements are satisfied.

A return must be authorized in writing before it is mailed. Return deadlines, condition requirements, refund amounts, and shipping responsibilities are explained in our full Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Replacement Policy.

What if my product is defective or made incorrectly?

Contact us promptly with photographs and your order information.

We will review whether the issue resulted from:

  • A manufacturing defect;

  • A difference from the approved proof;

  • Covered shipping damage;

  • A natural handmade variation;

  • Natural flower aging; or

  • Customer handling.

Depending on the circumstances, an available remedy may include repair, replacement, store credit, partial refund, or refund where appropriate.

What if I damage my keepsake after receiving it?

Customer-caused damage is not eligible for a free replacement or refund.

At our discretion, a repair, remake, or discounted replacement may be available. Exact replacement may not be possible when the original flowers or materials are no longer available.

How long do approved refunds take?

After an eligible return has been received, inspected, and approved, the refund will generally be submitted within 3–5 business days.

**Banks, card companies, and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.

Product Care

How should I care for my floral preservation keepsake?

To help protect your keepsake:

  • Keep it indoors;

  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight;

  • Avoid extreme heat and freezing temperatures;

  • Keep it away from water and high humidity;

  • Do not leave it inside a hot vehicle;

  • Handle it carefully;

  • Avoid dropping or striking it;

  • Use only recommended cleaning methods; and

  • Store it securely when not displayed.

Can resin yellow over time?

Resin may gradually change color as it ages, particularly when exposed to ultraviolet light, heat, or improper storage.

Keeping the piece away from prolonged direct sunlight and elevated temperatures can help reduce premature yellowing.

How should I clean my keepsake?

Use a soft, clean, dry microfiber cloth unless different care instructions are provided with your product.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, acetone, harsh chemicals, rough sponges, or sharp tools.

Can I display my preservation piece outdoors?

Unless specifically described as suitable for outdoor use, our preservation and acrylic products are intended for indoor display.

Outdoor exposure may cause fading, warping, moisture damage, cracking, adhesive failure, or other deterioration.

Can I place my keepsake near a window?

A keepsake may be displayed in a room with windows, but prolonged direct sunlight should be avoided.

Consider displaying it away from direct sun or using curtains, blinds, or ultraviolet-filtering window treatments.

Photographs, Reviews, and Privacy

Will you post photographs of my flowers or finished keepsake?

We may request permission to use photographs of completed work for our website, portfolio, social media, or marketing.

Identifiable private photographs, memorial information, or customer content will not intentionally be used for advertising without permission, except when content has already been publicly posted and may lawfully be reshared.

Can I ask you not to post my order?

Yes. Please tell us in writing that you do not authorize promotional use of your order photographs or personal details.

Private order documentation may still be retained when reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

How is my personal information used?

  • Process orders;

  • Communicate with you;

  • Create personalized products;

  • Obtain design approval;
